Positions:

Electrical Power Engineers

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree or experience.
  • A strong desire to utilize electrical engineering education to learn the concepts, techniques and applications of electrical power, machines, and protection through hands-on application.
  • Up to four years’ experience in industrial power, electrical machines, controls and protection.
  • Must be able to perform field service duties as required, usually several times a month, for 2-3 days at a time.
  • Successful completion of the FE/EIT examination.
  • Some experience performing power system studies such as Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Protective Device Coordination, Load Flow Study, Voltage Drop Analysis, Motor Starting Study, using SKM, E-TAP or similar software.  Additional Training may be provided.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA-70E, IEEE, ANSI, and other applicable standards, regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD.  Experience in AutoCAD Electrical package would be a very significant plus.

Project Managers

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree or experience
  • Immediate eligibility for PE licensure in Oklahoma and neighboring states.
  • Knowledge of electrical power distribution and associated equipment.
  • Ten years’ experience in industrial power, electrical machines, controls and protection
  • Successful experience in Project Management, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously, from conception to completion. 
  • Expert ability to read, correctly interpret, and apply electrical one-lines, schematics, blueprints, and technical instruction manuals.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA-70E, IEEE, ANSI, and other applicable standards, regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to interpret and design protective relay control schemes
  • Some experience performing power system studies such as Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Protective Device Coordination, Load Flow Study, Voltage Drop Analysis, Motor Starting Study, using SKM, E-TAP or similar software.  Additional Training may be provided.

Electrical Designers/Drafters

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of electrical design experience in low and medium voltage systems
  • Associates degree in electrical design, electrical technology or other electrical degree preferred
  • Ability to read, interpret, and draw/prepare the following for construction packages
  • one-line diagrams (including switching, relay, and 3-line)
  • plan drawings (electrical, grounding, lighting, plot plans, area classification)
  • detail drawings (including scaled layouts with bill of materials)
  • schematics diagrams (breaker, motor, system)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2008 and later versions, including model/paper spaces
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and orally with managers and clients
  • Knowledgeable of current NEC, NFPA-70E, Electrical Classifications and other applicable current design standards and guidelines

Field Service Technicians

  • Some ability to read, correctly interpret, and apply electrical one-lines, schematics, blueprints, and technical instruction manuals.
  • Mechanical, electrical, and computer aptitudes and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be able to perform field service duties as required, usually several times a month, for 2-3 days at a time.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and holidays when required.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA-70E, IEEE, ANSI, and other applicable standards, regulations and guidelines.
  • Knowledge and experience in switchgear and power equipment maintenance, repair and testing.
